For our first long-form piece, I want to explain why this site exists.

The Problem: The Longer the Relay Chain, the Noisier the Signal

Watch what happens to an AI announcement: it leaves the launch event, passes through media, gets amplified by communities, and by the time it reaches you, only the headline and the hype survive. Specs get inflated, context gets dropped, test conclusions vanish. Information decays along the relay chain — fast.

The Cure: Hands-On Testing

Every AINova article must answer three questions:

1. Have I actually used this? (If not, we say so.)
2. Where does my data come from? (First-hand test data, not vendor decks.)
3. What does this mean for the reader? (Not “revolutionary” — “here’s how your day changes.”)

How We Make Sure the Testing Is Real

Editorial discipline isn’t enough — so we enforce it with machinery. Every article runs through an 8-phase pipeline guarded by a mechanical gate with 40+ rules. Zero visible citations, image integrity, layout overflow protection — red lines, not suggestions.

Three Things We Don’t Do

• No relaying: when other outlets cover a story, we write what we think and what we measured
• No hype: “disruptive” and “revolutionary” are banned unless our own data backs them up
• No clickbait gap: headlines may pull you in; the body must honor them

A Promise to Our Readers

The AI industry will keep moving fast, and this site will move with it — but one thing stays constant: every technology deserves a hands-on test.
